1/7/2022: Love the background jazz music, it really takes the atmosphere up a notch. White Table clothes and candles. Knowledgeable staff. Of course great steaks.

11/2/2021: The food was great, service excellent, we got a free large slice of cheesecake for our anniversary gift. Very very nice, a little dark inside but overall wonderful and we will for sure be back!

10/26/2021: First time since the Covid lockdown, did not disappoint. Steak was cooked just right, my wife had the salmon, very good, the tuna he had before was not on the menu. The wait staff was great and the service excellent. Will be there again.

11/12/2020: Glenn Wheeler’s reputation proceeds him in Omaha; he’s one of THE culinary titans of our city. I’d eaten his food at Dandelion Pop-Up, but tonight got the full experience at Spencer's for Steaks and Chops. Wow. Sarah and ate WAY too much food, but we couldn’t stop because everything was so delicious. The scallops were buttery soft, and the sweet onion short rib marmalade has forever changed the way I’ll think of condiments (feel free to start mass producing that, Glenn. I’ll take 15 pounds, please).The onions also complemented the fatty, salty pork belly, which honestly is a top 5 appetizer for me in Omaha now. The steak was obviously delicious. Even the side salads, normally a “meh” throw-in, got an awesome pop from a champagne vinaigrette. Don’t sleep on Spencer’s, my friends. Whether you want steak, seafood, or just have a pork belly hankering, this is a tremendous option. It’s no wonder chef Glenn is such a legend.

11/11/2020: What a great first dining experience on Wed. Nov 11th! A friend and I were visiting Omaha to visit a couple of historic sites on a midweek get-away and decided to dine in our hotel that evening. Everything about dinner was fantastic; from the time we were greeted to dessert and what a beautiful restaurant. Our server was Nathan and he is outstanding! He provided the perfect level of service in all aspects - he was friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable regarding each menu (drinks, dinner and dessert). The food was amazing; I highly recommend the Prime Beef Meatloaf with a half order of Brussels sprouts. Delicious! My friend had the Scottish Salmon and she was very pleased with her meal as well. The entire presentation was beautiful (even the house chopped salad was lovely with a champagne vinaigrette); it's obvious there is much care taken to make sure the meal is enjoyed and not just simply eaten. The desserts are terrific and when we had a question about the unusual crust on the Hot Cinnamon Apple Pie, Nathan was happy to bring the pastry chef to our table so we could chat with him - he was just the nicest man and what an asset to Spencer's!! I chose the Chocolate Fudge Naughty Cake and let me say if you have never had a flourless chocolate dessert, this is the one to try! It was out of this world decadent!! The portions are generous so we had leftovers and took them with us to have for lunch on the way home the next day - that was a treat as everything was even better the next day! I would give all the stars to the Spencer's staff if I could; definitely looking forward to the next time!

June 2015: Extraordinary food and service, with great attention to detail, at the Jones/Hanson graduation party. Spencer's definitely has a place on our favorites list now!

June 2015: We clearly explained that we are from Louisville and passing through Omaha, thus unlikely to be there again. We were treated like royalty - glasses of champagne, a dessert, and a break on our wine made the celebration great. But best of all was the wonderful food and the outstanding service. Couldn't have been better! 

2/15/2015: Every part of our experience at Spencer's was fantastic. We started by having a drink at the bar and enjoyed our conversation and suggestions from the bartender. Once seated we were treated like rock stars the entire night.
Upfront, everything we had was amazing. Wild Maine Mussels (Miss Them Already), Signature Salad (Must Have).
Mains/Sides: Spencer Steak & Filet Mignon (Both Delicious), Grilled asparagus, Half portions:Truffle mac/Loaded hash browns. (must have experience) Desert: Hot Cinnamon Apple Pie (Order it. Trust Me!). Special Thanks to Jeff (Our "Tour Guide" Server) who had impeccable timing throughout the evening. Also, the General Manager, will definitely make you feel like a regular on your first visit."

A wonderful place for a date or to celebrate an anniversary.  Never disappointed after a visit and worth every penny. Staff are courteous, professional and attentive.  Every bite is a joyous adventure for the palate. My favorite restaurant in Omaha."

8-5-2013: Spencer's has the best steaks in town. They were out of my favorite bone-in ribeye so I got the bone-in NY strip. Fantastic! Sides are very good and portions are for sharing. Love the fully loaded hash browns. Desserts are as good as the steaks."
